VRUNM is actively involved in changing the culture of road use in our communities!
Safer, smarter road use enhances everyone's quality of life.
You can be part of making that happen!
Funding Needs:
Our presentations in Driver's Ed classes and others groups of young drivers are free of charge. We send them home with a few things to serve as reminders to make safe driving choices:
key chains, pens, stickers, and Our Safe Driving Pledge Card, etc.
Funding for these items is an ongoing need. With adequate funding we can take advantage of quantity discounts.
(Currently our packets are under $5 each)
We spent time with more than 400 students in the 2024/2025 school year.
We expect that number to increase significantly in the coming school years.
Additionally, we try to keep a supply of items on hand to share at community events.
Volunteer Needs:

Celebrate a birthday or other special day by hosting a GoFundMe or similar event to benefit VRUNM on social media!
Community Outreach Events
Folks who can help at various events, campus outreach, Farmer's Market, restaurant fund-raisers, etc. 3 to 4 hour shifts for most events. Dates and times will be listed here as they become available, along with link to sign up.
